Rehab Train Perform started in 2020 with the idea to close the gap between traditional physiotherapy and evidence based Strength and Conditioning. The company name describes the pathway clients will follow when starting with us. Firstly, starting with a consultation to discuss the reason for visiting, perhaps an injury, to start the process of rehabilitation. When the initial injury is overcome the emphasis is changed towards training to prevent re-occurrence of injury leading to improvements in performance for sport and lifestyle activities.
The idea of a practitioner seeing patients on a massage plinth once a week for various passive treatments to then come back and repeat week after week is no longer acceptable. This is why our philosophy is based around a thorough first assessment establishing a treatment plan predominantly involving active strength based exercise. This gives you accountability for your health and less dependency on a coach, leading to long-term success and positive lifestyle changes.
